YemenWeb.com (YW) is a private web site that was established in December 1998
by Sharaf Mutaher Alkibsi, who is the founder of YemenWeb.com. Currently,
Alkibsi is the general manager of YW along with other young Yemenis who work
together as a team in order to present Yemeni related issues on the internet. Our
mission is to educated the public about Yemen by offering electronic medium that
can be accessed by any user on the world wide web. Our site holds hundreds of
Megabytes of text, images, videos, audios, animations, and many other electronic
applications that you may go over by surfing YW.
We invite all Yemenis and non-Yemenis to be members in our site and be
updated with the latest news and information about Yemen. We try to help Yemeni
immigrants to be in touch with Yemen as well as inviting non-Yemenis to learn
about the rich Yemeni culture which can not be separated from the general
Islamic and Arabic culture.
On the line of publishing Yemeni issues online, YW also offers web hosting
and design for Yemeni companies and businesses for very low cost to them. YW
also offers banner advertising, web marketing and e-commerce.
